Stress reduction and self-care doesn't have to be expensive or time consuming. Take 8 minutes in the morning before you even get out of bed to set the tone for your day and 8 minutes before you fall asleep to bring closure to your day. First, make sure you have everything you need.
- Download a meditation timer app like this one: i-Qi Clock
- Your bed and a pillow or two.
- Your yoga breath to activate the relaxation response (mouth closed, jaw soft, slow inhales through the nose, slightly longer exhales through the nose)
